Arguably the world's premier ski destination this is an attractive and lively resort set at the heart of the vast Espace Killy ski area offering some of the best skiing and après ski in the whole of Europe. Unlike most other resorts it has multiple venues that can hold 300+ plus people from one group at anytime. We can offer a range of 2 to 4 star accommodation located both in village and on the slopes. We can also offer our fully inclusive package with the UCPA located in the heart of the village.

There are 6 sectors of skiing in the Espace Killy, 4 of which are on the Val d'Isere side, and the ski area is linked to that of Tignes via the Toviere chairlift. A free ski bus links Val d'Isere to La Daille and Le Fornet throughout the day and a modern and highly efficient lift system of 120 lifts serve over 300 kilometres of marked pistes. There is year round skiing on the Pissallis glacier above the ski area of Le Fornet and on the Grande Motte glacier above Tignes Val Claret. Val d'Isere has several good nursery slopes and has some of the best instruction in the Alps. There is a large nursery area under the Solaise Express lift and many wide and encouraging runs above the Tete de Solaise area. Confident beginners can also enjoy the skiing around Tignes before the end of their first week. Val d'Isere is a paradise for intermediates of all standards. There are a staggering variety of blue and red runs throughout the Bellevarde and La Daille Sectors and the massive domain of Tignes. Intermediates can also tackle the Solaise bumps underneath the Le Plan chairlift in the Solaise sector. The best advanced skiing in Europe can be found throughout the Espace Killy. There are numerous steep mogul fields and couloirs including one of Europe's most famous runs, the 1992 Olympic men's downhill run, the Face de Bellevarde, with a thrilling variety of pitch and terrain. Throughout the Espace Killy there is a huge amount of varried terrain suitable for boarders of all standards. At the foot of the Bellevarde there is also a permanent half-pipe for snowboarders. Tignes also has its own half pipe and a fun park set aside for boarders. Val d'Isere also has an almost inexhaustible 10000 hectares of the best and most accessible lift-served off-piste skiing in the world. Powder skiers can enjoy huge areas of virgin snow such as the bowls of the Tour du Charvet and the staggering off piste area above le Fornet.

No other resort has an après ski scene that compares with Val d'Isere its bars are simply the best. They are all now open until 2am and we highly recommend the following all of which have great deals for Piste Card holders. The Pacific bar which is perfect for watching all sports on one of its 7 plasma screen TVs, it also does a unbeatable offer on a good old turbo shandy! The Petit Danois is famous for its full English breakfast quite simply the best in the Alps, it of course offers a good old Scandinavian knees up until the early hours of every night fuelled by the Danish demon Red Eric. If its cocktails and a packed dance floor you’re after you couldn't do better than the Saloon on the front de neige, alternatively you can let yourself loose in Moris Pub for one of the numerous live bands. Which ever bar you choose you are sure to end up in the infamous Dicks Tea Bar, exclusive free entry with your Piste card lets you dance the night away until 4am!

Our coach drivers will pick you up at 8.30 and whisk you round to Tignes Val Claret for a the mountain meal in the Tavern des Neiges located. In the restaurant you are served a Pierrade where you cook your fresh meat on the hot stone on your table it is served with green salad, fries and a bottle of red wine. Always goes down as one of the best nights of the week! We take you directly from the restaurant to the door of Dicks Tea Bar so you can keep going till the early hours!

VVF Jardins de la Balme & Odalys Jardins de Val & Verdets: The Jardins de la Balme/ Val/Verdets offers 2 star apartment accommodation just minutes away from the centre of Val D'Isere. The pistes can be accessed by foot in two minutes or by taking the free bus service than stops 150 metres from the reception area. The self contained apartments are equipped with bathroom and kitchen and rooms are available sleeping 4 and 5 people.



Pierre et Vacances Chalets du Solaise: Quite simple the best residence available to the student market slap bang in the centre of Val d’Isere. On the Piste has exclusive rights to this residence which holds over 300 people under one roof in 4 star accommodation including a out door heated swimming pool, sauna and gym.



Alpina Lodge: This is the best located residence in Val d’Isere with its balconies over looking the high street. The accommodation is 4 star and sleeps between 4 and 9 people in a very high standard of apartment, again exclusive to On the Piste for student groups.




Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin: These chalet style apartments provide groups with a high standard of spacious apartments all sleeping between 6 and 10 people. The accommodation is 5 minute walk from the high street and is linked by a free shuttle bus.




Eureka Val: Located directly on the pistes of the Chatelard sector the luxury Eureka Val residence provides spacious accommodation in apartments sleeping 4, 6 or 8 persons with 2 separate sleeping areas. Ideal for groups who are looking to pay more for a higher standard of accommodation a short distance from the centre of a truly world class resort.



Pierre et Vacances La Daille: Located conveniently opposite the Funicular lift that offers the fastest route to the top of the mountain, the La Daille residence provides comfortable 2 star accommodation in self catering apartments sleeping 4, 5 and 6 persons. Each apartment has its own private bathroom facilities, kitchenette and balcony.
