This is our most southern based resort and shares the Foret Blanche ski area with Vars. The resort is north facing and it is this combined with its height which gives it a formidable snow record. The residence is located on the piste and is also above the main bars which helps to keep your group all together. This resort is perfect for groups from 50 - 150 looking for a cheap base price and some cheap prices in resort. The accommodation is all apartments.

The Foret Blanche has over 200km of pistes between its two resort Risoul and Vars. Risoul has excellent nursery slopes next to the village centre served by a network of drag lifts ideal for first time skiers and boarders. The area has a vast range of skiing and boarding for intermediates, with a huge variety of wide blue and red descents on the pistes above Risoul and Vars. There are large areas of suitable skiing and boarding above the tree line on wide open slopes with magnificent views across the Alpes du Sud and lower tree lined runs which wind their way through the forests above the villages. Advanced skiers and boarders will relish the selection of difficult blacks such as Epervier in Vars and Vautours in Risoul. Further challenging skiing can be found on and off-piste in the trees above Risoul which provides shelter on snowy days. Risoul has an excellent reputation as a boarder-friendly resort with its own permanent snowpark set in the main bowl just behind the residences.

Risoul is not renowned for its après ski but what it does have is great value and very accommodating to your groups needs. The accommodation sits above the two main bars namely the Cherine where you can play pool / table football while drinking an astonishing quantity of Desperados. Just next door to this is the dutch run Yeti bar who keep the music pumping until you can niether stand or consume anymore of the delightful flugal! Down in the main part of the village there is locals favorite the Rum Bar and any Irish out there will be at home in Le Pub who serve you a fresh pint of Guinness. Le Morgan nightclub is the main venue open till 4am and as usual you get fee entry with the ‘Piste card’.

Les Melezes: Situated on the ski slopes and only a short distance from the main village facilities the wooden built Melezes residences offer accommodation in rooms sleeping 4 and 6 people. The residences have their own reception area, two bars, a large restaurant and a ski hire shop all located within the ground floor. Each apartment has two sleeping areas with fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom with WC.
